Interview: Josh Pyke On Writing With A Sense Of Invigoration

Josh Pyke has once again returned to our speakers with the first new material since Only Sparrows, his 2013 full-length offering The Beginning And The End Of Everything. With a release date of Friday, 5th July, it hasn’t taken long for the album to catch on with single after single seeming to be listed off the record just weeks after its street date. On its release, Josh came by Music Feeds Studio for a bit of a chat and a live performance.

First up was the interview. Now was our opportunity to look under the hood of the journey that is the roller coaster ride through the mind of Josh Pyke. One of Australia’s most beloved singer-songwriters, Pyke explains what it was that powered the themes of the release, and how it set itself apart from the other 3 albums, which now populate Pyke’s back catalogue.
