Interview: Kimbra – Splendour In The Grass 2012

Though NZ singer Kimbra became a house hold name after her collaboration with Gotye, more and more attention is being called towards her solo work. The dynamic performer and talent songwriter released her album Vow last year causing a huge amount of fuss around her music.

Having just returned from a tour of the US, Kimbra caught up with Music Feeds prior to her performance at Splendour In The Grass. Only in town for the night, Kimbra is off again, first to NZ before making her way through Europe and once again the US.

Touring schedule aside, Kimbra revealed small amounts of detail in regards to her up and coming sophomore album. Given her recent international success; Vow, now being released in Australia, the UK and USA – Everyone is putting their hand up to be involved in the next project. Kimbra mentioned a couple of artists to get fans excited, though was sure to keep some secrets locked up, probably adding to the excitement around the release.
