Interview: Laura Imbruglia – “Everything Changed For The Better”

Having recently released her brand new single Awooh!, Laura Imbruglia has announced that she’s at it again, revealing plans to release a brand new full-length album What A Treat this coming June.

Prior to hitting the road in support of the release, Laura stopped by Music Feeds Studio, where she live-streamed two performances before kicking back to talk shop about everything that went into the release. Combining a bit of the past Laura with what we can expect in the future, What A Treat is an all-encompassing record. Backed by a worthy crowd of some of Melbourne’s finest musicians, we chat about the whole creation process, and different influences on the album.

Following a successful crowd-sourcing campaign, Laura will be releasing the album with a special jigsaw puzzle. We get the lowdown on that idea as well as different sources for certain lyrics, mainly her track focusing solely on insects, as well as all the developments in the band that fans can now look forward to experiencing.
