Interview: Metric – Splendour In The Grass 2012

Off the back of their new album Synthetica, Metric return to Australia for SITG. Playing to a crowded Supertop, the band perfectly recreated their synth-driven anthems. Despite some technical difficulties during their upcoming single, Breathing Underwater, the band remained unperturbed, keeping the masses entertained with their charismatic on-stage antics. In the cold Byron night, we talk to Joshua and Jules about the complex, layered and modern themes of their new album. Ending on an empowering note, Joshua urges fans to be honest, do what you need to do, go from the heart and impress yourself. No shit, balls or wank about it.
