Interview: Panama Talk Hectic Europe Tour And New Music On The Way

With Jetlag still lingering after just returning from a hectic Europe tour, indie-pop outfit Panama’s Jarrah had a chat with Harry from Music Feeds, all about the “nerve-wracking” overseas trip and what to expect from their new music.

Their first time touring as a two-piece, their recent overseas tour was not without it’s hurdles with Jarrah telling us “we had a few things go wrong, little small things. Like a change in the fluctuation of the voltage… had a few electronics go wrong and I had to fix it on the fly.”

Talking of what influences his song-writing he also revealed that he uses movies as a means to kickstart his music-making: “I studied film and music at AFTRS, so I find I usually tend to write with footage of a movie in the background and I’ll almost score it and add lyrics after.”

Panama are supporting the upcoming Years & Years Splendour sideshows, you can grab all the deets here.
