Interview: Pennywise – “Aussies Are Good And Pissed And They’re Getting Crazy”

Fletcher Dragge and Randy Bradbury from Pennywise join us to chat about the band’s 25th anniversary tour of Oz, and boy, can you tell that these two have been making music together for a long time. Our interview was full of good-natured ribbing between the two, with Fletcher suggesting Randy’s ‘ugly mug’ would make viewers change the channel, and Randy instructing Fletcher to go take a Xanax. And then they get straight back to talking about the tour like nothing ever happened. All in a day’s work, eh, boys?

Fresh off the back of shows in Tokyo, Perth and Melbourne, the Californian punk rockers talk about having original singer Jim Lindberg back in the band, what’s changed over the past 25 years and how the Australian fans have managed to turn it up “to 11.5 out of 10” on this tour.

We’ll have part 2 of our chat with Pennywise coming very soon, so stay tuned to Feeds.
