Rapidly earning a rep as one of the most dynamic electronic acts around, Brisbane locals Pigeon placed themselves right in the thick of BIGSOUND 2012.
Performing for BIGSOUND Live electronic showcase, the lads have spent the last few months gigging as hard as possible. Having hit the highways of Australia in support of the latest material for the Oh Hebe tour, the schedule saw the group head to cities they’ve previously never toured. Wollongong and Newcastle were among those towns to lose their Pigeon virginity, and much to the surprise of the boys, those towns were some of the most out of control shows they’ve played to date.
The band describes their creative process, explaining that the trio each speciailse in an area of the process, and take charge when it comes to doing what they do best. In disagreement as to whether the songs are more at home in the studio, or on the stage, Pigeon agree to disagree on the idea.
Pigeon expose all to the Music Feeds team about what went on during their tour with Tijuana Cartel – by the sounds of things, lots and lots of tequila.
