Interview: Tonight Alive – “‘The Edge’ Had To Be The Best Song We’ve Ever Written”

Recently, one of our most successful musical exports Tonight Alive revealed their place on the highly coveted The Amazing Spiderman – Rise Of Electro soundtrack.

Jenna and Whakaio caught up with Music Feeds to tell us how they ended up contributing the earth-shattering track The Edge.

The pair elaborate on how they “knew it had to be the best song” they’d ever written – no pressure there – but with a definite story and blueprint in place, they turned a demo into an international hit.

With The Other Side still copping a right flogging, the band are looking for their follow-up album, a potentially Rage Against The Machine/Alanis Morissette/pop punk juggernaut.

Batman purists – you’re gonna wanna see this…
