Interview: Zulu Winter – Splendour In The Grass 2012

Absurdities aside, Zulu Winter brightened our day backstage at SITG to talk about their debut trip to Australia. Playing to a solid crowd at the Supertop, frontman Will Daunt and keyboardist Dom Millard regaled us with tales of their drummer’s ambition to “sample” an Australian girl (for their next album of course); the impossible search for a horrible band with an excellent band name; a quick brush with Jack White, and most importantly their disdain for worst band in the world, Nickleback. Any band that can openly pronounce, “screw you Nickleback” is alright by me.
