Josef Salvat – ‘Open Season’

Sydney-bred, London-based singer-songwriter Josef Salvat takes the most stereotypical tropes of modern music videos and throws them on their head in his creative and clever video for latest single Open Season.

Taking centre stage as “The Artist”, Salvat performs the track, which features on his In Your Prime EP, while a slew of music video clichés unfold around him, including gratuitous bikini-clad and likely freezing models, pensive stares across the water and, ah, a leopard.

Directed by Ollie Wolf, it’s a highly entertaining and beautifully shot effort, as well as one of the most fun videos of the year so far.
