King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard – ‘Gamma Knife’

Alongside confirmation of their sure-to-be-psychedelic eighth album, Nonagon Infinity, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have shared a new, motion-sickness-inducing video for their track Gamma Knife.

Reminiscent of a Mighty Boosh music video with tinges of Monty Python’s The Holy Grail and camerawork seemingly inspired by Pink Floyd’s Pompeii adventures, the vid features the band dressed up in robes and face paint in some spiritual looking formation.

Somehow they maintain their balance of style and pure weirdness while old dudes (also in colour coordinated robes) approach the band members with daggers in hand.

Fuzzing up joyful audiences in Australia for six years now, The Gizz will release Nonagon Infinity on Friday 29 April.
