Matt Corby – ‘Empires Attraction’

Matt Corby’s hard-earned debut album Telluric is proving to be the gift that keeps on giving. Today, another gem has been earthed from the record with Empires Attraction synced to visuals.

The soulful, damn near Gospel tune has been attributed to a fairly strange music video featuring moments of history – some good, some bad, some horrid – all of them important to our own story. Rather than following a specific narrative, Empires Attraction seems to focus more so on the broader topic of change in society…we think?

Corby spent much of the past 12 months back and forthing around the globe performing the songs to the people who matter most, his fans. And, of course there was that Like A Version
