Misguided – ‘Know The Enemy’

Storming onto the Australian heavy music scene despite poor directions (and my horrible puns), Brisbane based metalcore band Misguided have just dropped a clip for their debut single Know The Enemy ahead of its upcoming release.

Launching the single at The Brightside in Brisbane on Thursday 7th April, Know The Enemy was premiered this week via triple j’s Short. Fast. Loud. and is the first single from the band’s upcoming debut EP.

The video is a pretty wild affair, opening with a quote from The Dark Knight and leading into the band playing a private concert for a groups of cocaine sniffing, money grubbing and selfie snapping actors masked as world leaders. Heavy handed perhaps, but it matches the track’s aggressively political lyrics.

As for the politics of the band themselves, I leave that for you to decipher on your own.
