Mutemath – ‘Blood Pressure’ (Live At Music Feeds Studio)

Having recently landed in Australia for a hectic run of tour dates, New Orleans lads Mutemath still managed to find the time to vibe out at Music Feeds Studio where they performed a reworked synth-driven version of their gangbusters single Blood Pressure, from their 2011 album Odd Soul.

The session highlights just how tight and versatile Mutemath truly is. There are a lot of elements stacked on top of each other and therefore plenty of room for error but with remarkable steeze the 4-piece build the restrained and electro-charged track remarkably, delivering a killer revamp of their classic tune.

Though Mutemath have had plenty of time to master Blood Pressure, it’s intriguing to see how the reinterpretation all comes together. You’ll be able to catch almost every note that’s played during this clip, demonstrating just how much effort goes into a tastefully minimal sound.
