My Own Pet Radio – ‘No Great Mystery’

My Own Pet Radio – aka, Sam Cromack from Ball Park Music – has dropped No Great Mystery, the single for his new solo project. The release follows the announcement of his forthcoming debut album Goodlum.

Managing to be profound and cute at the same time, the video features a collection of craft-based friends and a surreal journey through a paper world.

Cromack says of the song, “I wrote this after watching a film about Allen Ginsberg and the Beat Generation. It got me thinking … about how some artists construct such a mysterious narrative for themselves. Their life is jam-packed with love, loss, abuse, juicy drama and stubborn pigheadedness. I felt at a loss; my life is simple, but I enjoy that.”

My Own Pet Radio is planning an Australian tour for late 2015. No Great Mystery is available digitally now and Goodlum will be released on 25th September through Inertia.
