Nick DiDia Talks Production

Following a quick chat catching up on his big move from the US to Byron Bay, production juggernaut Nick DiDia walked the crew through his new studio at Studio 301.

DiDia is a firm believer that a great song is going to be a great song, no matter how you produce it, though having said that, he is also adamant that bands must have a producer present in the studio. Choosing a much more organic style of production, DiDia uses his skills as an unqualified marriage counsellor of sorts to build unity between band members, and also encourage them to perform at their top level.

It’s a great video for people interested in a career in production as Nick gives rare insight into hard-learned lessons he’s picked up after a sustained career in the studio.
