No Doubt performed their latest single Settle Down live only a matter of hours ago, marking their comeback to the live stage. The last time they performed live was back in 2009 when the band all re-joined again after finishing up their various side projects, and before that, when they wrapped up their 2004 touring with Blink-182 before going on hiatus.
The group announced their long-awaited follow-up to 2001’s Rock Steady back in May, and have since been releasing in-the-studio updates to the status of the new recording. The band have said that they are “really proud of our new album, and we hope you love it as much as we do.” We should expect a tour to follow, but strong rumours that they would visit as apart of next year’s Soundwave 2013 lineup have now been ruled out.
Last week we saw the premiere of the music video for Settle Down, which saw them team up again with Sophie Muller, who oversaw the clips such as Don’t Speak and Simple Kind of Life.
