Owl Eyes – ‘Salt Water’ (Live On The Music Feeds Studio Rooftop)

You couldn’t picture a more perfect scene – the flawless Sydney sunshine, perfect blue skies and the enchanting Owl Eyes performing her single Salt Water, one of the many gems ready for discovery on her newly released debut album, Nightswim.

You may have seen Owl Eyes’ previous performance at Music Feeds Studio where she performed the title track off the release. Salt Water continues in a similar fashion – gentle swells, cascading synths and the overall feel of some blissful dream. Pitting ’80s pop and the more contemporary dream pop against one another, Owl Eyes manages to construct a soundscape that’s totally unique to her vibe.

Nightswim is going to be another interesting chapter in the story of Owl Eyes, who seized our attention with her previous singles Love Run Dry and Crystalised. Owl Eyes is touring Australia in May.
