Papaya Tree – ‘Radar’

Prepare for the horniest courtroom drama you’ve ever witnessed courtesy of Sydney-based indie sextet Papaya Tree‘s new music video for ‘Radar’.

The raucous visuals for this infectiously fresh brass-laced boogie see the band caught up in a bizarre criminal case that takes plenty of unexpected twists and turns, while showcasing their unique multi-instrumental chops in a surreal AF setting.

Shot and directed by Cameron McCormack at Sydney’s Moot Court in Chippendale, the quirky clip was inspired by frontman Lee McDermott’s time as a court reporter, and breathes even more fresh air into this triple J-frothed toe-tapping funk n’ roll earworm.

And if the video enough isn’t enough to satisfy you, you can catch Papaya Tree performing it live at their official ‘Radar’ launch tonight at The Lansdowne, or at Sydney indie nightclub Rare Finds next month.
