The Bamboos Interview On MFTV, Sydney 2012

Prior to the first Sydney show of their current album launch tour, The Bamboos’ Lance Ferguson sat down with the crew over a beer to talk all things funk.

Having just released their 5th studio album, Medicine Man, The Bamboos just keep on growing. In previous years the band has been coined as one of the most influential in Australia, and this release has seen all that glory return. Teaming up with many of the golden children of Australian Music, Megan Washington, Tim Rogers, Daniel Merryweather and many more, the album is a literal who’s who of Australian music. Lance discusses the impact these collaborations had on the music and the band, as well as whether or not being labelled as progressive helps the creative process, or hinders it.
