The Jezabels – Look Of Love (Live At Music Feeds Studio)

We recently enjoyed the company of Sydney alt-rockers The Jezabels in Music Feeds Studio. The band came in to share some choice cuts from their latest album, The Brink, including Look Of Love, which received a gorgeous, stripped-down rendering that allowed guitarist Samuel Lockwood‘s delicate acoustic leads to ring out as the perfect accompaniment to Hayley Mary‘s soaring vocals.

We were also lucky enough to steal a few minutes of the band’s time for a quick interview, during which we discussed the band’s then-upcoming set at Groovin The Moo. “That festival’s genius… And regional crowds are always some of our favourites,” said Hayley.

“People are just stoked that you’re there. There’s a lot of universities around these places,” said Samuel. “People are just stoked that you’re out there, that’s the general vibe. It doesn’t matter what sort of band you are, everyone’s there and loves music so it’s really cool.”
