Watch: Bearhug – ‘Borderlines’

Sydney’s Bearhug are returning to the fore this year with their first full-length album since 2012′s Bill, Dance, Shiner, with their newest record So Gone due out on September 12th. Allowing us a taste of the record’s new sonic direction, Bearhug have now unveiled the video for the album’s opener Borderlines.

Bearhug has experienced some changes to its line-up, now down a member since their Over Easy EP came out in April 2013. With a new line-up comes a new sound and the Sydney outfit have swapped their loose, jangling guitars for some intense and fuzz guitar noise.

The short instrumental Borderlines gives us a glimpse at the guitar fuzz that’s sure to come on So Gone, which was recorded by Straight Arrows frontman Owen Penglis.
