WATCH: Bonjah – ‘Honey’

Melbourne-via-New-Zealand blues and roots quartet Bonjah are heading back with a brand new album, Beautiful Wild, and they’ve given us a rather sweet taste tester with Honey, the video for the third single from the record.

The clip was acted, directed and edited in the space of 24 hours by frontman Glenn Mossop, who says Honey is a very honest insight into his creative process:

“I guess it’s a bit of a self portrait of what I was feeling around the time the song was written. Feeling quite isolated from friends, my partner, my family, myself. I’d shut my emotions away from all these important people in my life and put myself in a place that felt like what the setting in the video clip looks like.”

Beautiful Wild can be preordered now through iTunes and is set for release through Inertia on Friday, 18th April. Bonjah will be launching the album at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Friday, 9th May, before undertaking a national tour in August and September.
