WATCH: Cloud Nothings – ‘I’m Not Part Of Me’

Cloud Nothings, one of the more intriguing and forward-thinking indie groups to be birthed by Ohio in recent years, recently unveiled their highly anticipated follow-up to 2012′s Attack on Memory, their debut album which still has fans raving about its explosive mix of garage and indie rock. The band’s new album is called Here and Nowhere Else and they’ve now announced the release of a music video for single I’m Not Part Of Me.

Here and Nowhere Else was written amid the band’s 18-month tour, with lead-singer and guitarist Dylan Baldi labelling the record a more subtle pursuit than previous albums. “It’s not just an in-your-face rock record. There’s more going on,” he added.

Recently speaking to Music Feeds‘ David Claridad, Baldi said of the album, “This one I was definitely in a more positive place than when I was recording Attack On Memory. I was actually fairly depressed at the time [of Attack On Memory], because no one actually liked the band. And that’s how I was spending my life, and that’s a bit of a weird way to spend it.”
