WATCH: Cut Copy – ‘We Are Explorers’

Aussie indietronica collective Cut Copy have dropped the music video for We Are Explorers, a cut from their fourth studio album Free Your Mind, which was released in Novemeber 2013 via Modular Records and had a rather interesting release campaign, which included unveiling the album’s first single, Free Your Mind, in six very specific locations in the world, discoverable only by navigating your way to a given set of coordinates where a ‘Free Your Mind’ billboard was located.

Directed by Masa Kawamura, Qanta Shimizu and Aramique, the clip utilises new 3D printing technologies and stop-motion to portray two glowing figurines embarking on a romantic journey through a vast city. Fans can even download the 3D printing files for free right here, so that they can print them and re-immagine their own narratives (assuming that you’ve acquired a 3D printer and know a thing or two about stop-motion animation).

The lads from Cut Copy were recently announced as part of the lineup for the 2014 Bonnaroo Music Festival.
