WATCH: Drowners – ‘A Button On Your Blouse’

New York-based post-punk revivalists Drowners have dropped the music video for A Button On Your Blouse, the second single from their upcoming self-titled debut album.

Directed by Pete Voelker, the video is actuallu two clips in one. The first is of frontman Matthew Hitt singing along with the rest of the group behind him, the other of a myriad of people getting into the track.

The melodic and melancholic song marks a slight change of pace for Drowners’ self-professed brand of romantic aggression. “I always think of this one as our ballad even though it’s not even that slow,” says Hitt.

Drowners’ eponymous debut album is out 14th February.
