WATCH: The Strypes – ‘Hard To Say No’
Hailing from a country with a rich history of fiery, guttural, cro-magnon rock and roll, Irish boys The Strypes have signalled their return with Hard To Say No, a track which embodies the irreverent spirit of this up-and-coming young outfit and serves as a rightful celebration of an incredible 2013, during which the band unveiled their debut album, Snapshot, embarked on their first run of festival dates, and supported indie golden boys the Arctic Monkeys on their stadium tour of the UK and Europe.
Not ones to rest on their laurels, Ross, Josh, Pete, and Evan have channeled that momentum into a brand new release, an EP titled 4 Track Mind, which is sure to see the band ascend even greater heights in the 2014 and convert a whole lot of new fans. The EP is out now via EMI, coinciding with the launch of the boys’ latest UK tour.
Brimming with cocksure adolescent lust and some ruthless, garage-bred guitar work, Hard To Say No is a statement of where The Strypes are and where they are going, incorporating a new level of sophistication into the band’s old-school R&B palette.
