WATCH: Wagons – ‘Chase the Eclipse’

Long considered one of Australia’s great live bands, Wagons, following the release of their latest album Acid Rain and Sugar Cane have unleashed their ultimate space-melting road tune Chase the Eclipse and its accompanying video features the claymation work of band member Si the Philanthropist.

“Inspired by Gumby and the movie Jason and the Argonauts, the story is like Greek mythology meets acid trip wonderland,” explains Si the Philanthropist. “A strange creature kidnaps Henry, then the band are transformed by its powers while trying to rescue him, until the eclipse destroys the magic and releases them.”

The band have also added two Australian tour dates to their bustling schedule, hitting up Victoria’s Caravan Music Club on Friday, August 8th and The Substation in Newport on Saturday, August 9th.
