WATCH: Young Lions – ‘Burn’

Brisbane outfit Young Lions have announced the release of their single Burn, the title track from their recently released debut album. The single and a stunning video, which was shot and edited by up-and-coming director Neal Walters, come ahead of the band’s highly anticipated and imminent tour dates with Floridian rockers The Almost, which kick off later this month.

The eye-catching clip, which features footage of the band performing, interspersed with some thrilling and claustrophobic action scenes, was shot over night at Queensland’s Bribie Island. Filming began at 9pm and the crew, actors, and the band did not leave until sundown.

The clip comes at the tail-end of a stellar 2013, during which they released their debut full-length effort, signed to the prestigious Shock Records, and played their first ever headline shows tour dates on the Burn national tour. Meanwhile, the band were amassing praise for several outlets and earned a top 40 spot in Triple J‘s Short. Fast. Loud. 2013 listener poll.
