Trance fans had their heats in their mouths last week when it was reported that Paul Van Dyk had taken a serious fall during a concert. Van Dyk had been performing at A State of Trance 750 in Utrecht in Holland, when he climbed up above his decks only to take a sharp fall.
Shortly after he disappeared below the stage, the music and lights were also cut, with fans literally left in the dark for several minutes as to what had happened. Later that night Armin van Buuren posted to his Facebook page letting fans know that Van Dyk had been taken to hospital.
Now after a more than week of radio silence, a post appeared has on Van Dyk’s own Facebook page thanking fans for their support during this tough time. The post outlines that the producer suffered concussion and a cracked vertebrae, but more significantly that he is expected to eventually make a full recovery.
