Signs of life are once again omitting from camp Kings Of Leon, with the band announcing a forthcoming album Walls earlier in the year. Now, they’ve gone and dropped a live performance of the title track from the record, and much to the joy of their fanbase, it’s a ballad.
Walls (below) sees the band hitch their wagon to the tried and true rock concept of a love interest breaking down the protagonists ‘walls’, Miley Cyrus style. And while it doesn’t appear as though KoL have added to the motif in any way, Walls is a minimal, easily accessible ode to the concept.
The band have made the most of their time on Later… With Jools Holland, backing up Walls with a live performance of lead single from the album Waste A Moment. No doubt fans have already sunk their teeth into Around The World, which was also highlighted during their performance.
So just like that, three jams from Walls have had a public airing. No doubt we’ll hear more from the record ahead of it’s scheduled Friday, 14th October release. Watch Kings Of Leon’s Later performances, below.
