Having spent most of their recent time simply conquering stages all over the world, Electric Empire, freshly kitted out with a new lineup, new EP and totally new vibe, is set to return home with the plan of leaving fans stunned, jaws opened, fiending more.
The group were in town recently where they showcased their brand new stylings through their recent EP Changin. The release marks a noticeable detachment from previous releases, but still holds true to their well-established funky sensibilities.
The last time we heard from the soulful 4-piece was their 2011 single effort Yes I Will, which ushered in a deluxe version of the previously released debut self-titled album. Since then the band has successfully pricked up the ears of international tastemakers, and firmly kept their attention.
