Our Review: LaMontagne’s voice is so powerful and bewitching we’re not sure if it originates from heaven or hell, but either way, we’re happy for him to take us there. The American troubadour’s latest LP Part Of The Light is rich in nostalgia-inducing folk rock that harkens back to 70’s icons like Zeppelin or Bowie, but still manages to feel fresh, unique and life-affirming. We can’t wait to see him deliver the goods live when he comes down under for Bluesfest in a few short months!
