The 411:

With an album in the works, 2019 is shaping up to be a huge year for The Dead Love. They’ve inked a deal with US label Adventure Cat Records, signed to 123 Agency for bookings, played a string of killer shows with the likes of The Story So Far, Basement, DZ Deathrays and Stand Atlantic and won strong support from Spotify and triple j with their underdog anthem ‘Anyway’.

Now, off the back of their latest single ‘Pick Me Up’, the lads are hitting the road for a few headline dates this month. After playing a sold-out Brissie show this weekend, they’ll be hitting up Melbourne and Sydney in the coming weeks before showcasing at BIGSOUND in September.

Live Dates:

Friday, 12th July

The Gasometer, Melbourne

Tickets: Oztix

Thursday 18th July, 2019

The Vanguard, Sydney

Tickets: Moshtix

Our Review:

At a time when homegrown punk is dominating the airwaves, there’s something about The Dead Love that truly stands out. Their sound is distinctively Australian and yet simultaneously seems purpose-built for the international stage. Frenetic grungey riffs, huge drunken singalong choruses and bucketloads of heart, this Sydney trio just keep dishing the goods. Bring on the album m8s!
