The 1975 Will Be Back To Tour Australia In 2017

Fans who were unlucky enough to miss The 1975 performing live at either Splendour In The Grass or one of their headlining sideshows won’t have to wait too long to catch them again.

Before even exiting the country, the band have already announced plans to return for another romp in 2017.

According to Music Feeds reviewer David James Young, Matt Healy closed out the UK funk-poppers’ Sydney set with a promise to come back for more next year.

It likely spells good news for punters living outside the East Coast, with the band only gracing fans in Byron Bay, Sydney and Melbourne with their presence this time around.

It seems like the British heartthrobs can’t get enough of the land Down Under though, with their just-wrapped Splendour lap marking their 2nd Aussie tour in 2016 alone, following their national all ages run back in January.

It’s news that’s bound to excite – at the very least – Northlane frontman Marcus Bridge, who just cured his Splendour FOMO by tracking a killer cover of The 1975’s 2013 single Robbers.
