With their brand new album soon to be safely in the hands of the masses and some prime real estate on the Splendour In The Grass 2013 poster, Airbourne have announced they will be keeping the momentum flowing with a run of headlining tour dates. Kicking off in July, the lads will be in fine form having recently wrapped up a successful stint touring abroad.
In the coming months, Airbourne will be bringing some much needed Australian flavour to the line ups of the world’s biggest festivals including Rock Im Park, Rock Am Ring, Sonisphere, Metalfest, Novarock and Download not to mention their own headlining jaunt across the world.
The previous release form the band, 2010’s No Guts. No Glory made a serious impact. Their hectic touring commitments made it challenging to get in the mood to write but having buckled down, the band are now prepared to release the follow up Black Dogs Barking, Friday, 17th May.
Their live show is so in demand that the band has been nominated at the Metal Hammer Awards Golden Gods Awards for Best Live Band. The winner will be announced at the Monday, 17th June ceremony.
