Alt-J Announce Massive All-Ages 2015 Australian Tour

Alt-j have announced their biggest run of headlining shows in Australia to date. The lads from Leeds will return to our shores in May 2015 for five all-ages arena shows, hitting up Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth as the trio continues to tour behind new album This Is All Yours.

Alt-J recently played two surprise dates in Melbourne and Sydney, ahead of three upcoming festival slots with Fall Festival ’14/’15, Southbound ’15, and Field Day ’15. While in town, drummer Thom Green told Music Feeds the band is still in a feeling out process with their new material.

Commenting on alt-J’s upcoming Aus festival return, Green said the band don’t plan of changing their current set drastically but says they are open to new ideas. “There are a couple of tracks which we still want to add to the set,” Green said. “When we rehearsed for this tour back in London … we only had so much time and there were only so many tracks we could learn.”

No doubt by the time alt-j comes around again for their May headlining tour, they’ll have all their new material sorted. Frontier Members pre-sale starts from 2pm (AEDT) Tuesday, 28th October to 2pm (AEDT) Wednesday, 29th October. General public tickets on sale from 10am local time, Friday, 31st October.
