Bad//Dreems Has Shared A Self-Isolation Inspired Love Song

There’s a lot going on in the world right now with a fair majority of it being pretty overwhelming. Bad//Dreems are looking at the positives though. And one of those, is the songwriting inspiration.

Bad//Dreems frontman Ben Marwe shared his new coronavirus-inspired love song called ‘I Wanna Self-Isolate With You’ via social media. It’s a simple, acoustic track but it’s the content we need right now.

“An ode to COVID19, lyrically the best work we’ve done. Giss an ‘aye aye aye’ if you agree. Stay safe. Stay healthy. xoxo,” the band shared alongside the video.

Marwe strums along as he sings out ideas of what he’d like to do with his love in self-isolation. “Rewatch The Office, rug up in bed, hide away from the world as it comes to an end, we could play Guess Who or Trivial Pursuit, I could do our tax, watch you relax, rearrange the cupboard, read some L. Ron Hubbard, have a crafternoon, do a puzzle or two.”

The verses are broken up with a simple chorus, “I wanna self-isolate with you.”

The love song quickly goes downhill in romance though. “We can shave our pubes, play with Rubik’s cubes, clean out the shed, Kama Sutra in bed, I could teach you piano, we could call your Nana, think about life while it’s throwing us spanners.”
