Architects of heavy metal Black Sabbath have released the trailer for their upcoming live concert DVD, titled Gathered In Their Masses. The new concert film was compiled from footage shot during the band’s reunion shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena earlier this year.
The band’s reunion tour wrapped up this month and saw icons and original Sabbath members Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Iommi, Geezer Butler, team up with acclaimed drummer Tommy Clufetos promote their recent album, 13.
While the band, who used to have cocaine flown in by plane, have hinted at following up 13 with more new material, fans in the meantime are being treated to a new live DVD.
Taking a lyric from the band’s signature song War Pigs, Gathered In Their Masses will be released Tuesday, 26th November via Vertigo/Republic, compiling footage from the band’s sets at Rod Laver Arena on 29th April and 1st May, 2013.
While no official tracklist has yet been released, the band’s sets at Rod Laver included classics such as Into The Void, Snowblind, Black Sabbath, Paranoid, and Iron Man, as well as new tracks Loner, Methademic, End of the Beginning, and God Is Dead?
UPDATE: The Australian release date for the DVD has been confirmed as 22nd November, 2013!
