ORIGINAL STORY: Brand New have finally announced their first new album in over eight years, revealing to fans that they’ll release a “very limited vinyl” edition of their fifth studio album in October.
Brand New fans have been waiting for a new album for years. Since Daisy was released in 2009, the band have added to all the pain by selling merch containing the words ‘Brand New: 2000 — 2018’, saying they were “done” and pushing back their plans for a new record.
Brand New’s upcoming fifth album could well be their last, but the band have also announced new tour dates in the US and UK today, suggesting that they could well be gearing up for another jaunt around the world behind their new music.
