Clubfeet’s ‘Everything You Wanted’ Video Clip Once Again Knocked Off

It’s another case of deja vu for Clubfeet after the indie crew have had the concept for their Everything You Wanted video clip blatantly knocked off by a Turkish artist who didn’t even seem to try and hide the obvious parallels between the two videos.

Soner Sarıkabadayı uploaded the video clip for his track Kutsal Toprak on Tuesday, 24th June and it didn’t take too long for the red flags to start popping up. The dude even has the same haircut as Clubfeet main man Sebastian Cohen and a very similar dress sense. Of course there’s always the chance that this is just a rare moment of creative lightening striking twice – on two different sides of the planet, but…nah.

The worst part is, judging by some of the Youtube comments flying around some of Soner Sarıkabadayı fans think he was the one who was ripped off. Some people.

It must be a weird moment for Clubfeet who found themselves in an equally awkward position back in April when a Japanese band did the exact same thing. [Champagne] thought they could slide under the radar with their “re-interpretation” but they thought wrong.

There’s been no official word from the Clubfeet camp on this latest discovery other than a public acknowledgement of the situation via Facebook, but they’re surely not terribly stoked on this.
