Courtney Barnett Announces New Album ‘Tell Me How You Really Feel’, Shares New Single

Courtney Barnett has announced her highly anticipated second album Tell Me How You Really Feel and released the first single from it, ‘Nameless, Faceless’.

The follow-up to 2015’s Sometimes I Sit And Think And Sometimes I Just Sit is due to arrive on 18th May, and it’s a 10-track effort which supposedly sets a new tone for the Aussie artist.

‘Nameless, Faceless’, meanwhile, is a dry, punk rock moment that takes us back to those honest, stream-of-consciousness lyrics we came to know so well on the first record. Stream it below.

Earlier this week, Barnett shared an album teaser which previews even more songs from the record in a stripped-back setting.

Sometimes I Sit And Think And Sometimes I Just Sit was a huge breakthrough for Barnett. It won the J Award for Album Of The Year, plus four ARIAs, and was also nominated for a Grammy and a Brit Award.
