Cub Sport Announce New Self-Titled Album

Brisbane beauties Cub Sport have just announced their new, self-titled album following a huge couple of years.

The album sports the lead single ‘Sometimes’, and is the first album the band have put out since lead vocalist Tim Nelson and keyboardist Sam Netterfield got married in August.

Of the album, Nelson released a statement on how important this album was to make, and the life experience he was having during the time of writing.

“This record lays me bare but I can’t wait to share it because I truly believe it’s going to take you somewhere else,” he said. “The past 12 months has felt like the most transformative year of my life and I’ve been fortunate enough to have many of you as a part of the journey.”

This album captures everything you saw happening as well as everything else that was happening that you couldn’t see. It hasn’t been an easy year but I’ve grown so much, learned so much and loved so much.

The album also features fellow Brisbanite, Mallrat. Both acts are on this year’s Falls Festival lineup.

Cub Sport is out Friday, 18th January 2019.
