Yep, That Download Festival Australia 2019 Lineup Poster Is Fake

Download Festival‘s 2019 Australian dates arrived today, and so did its first fake AF lineup poster.

With the festival set to mosh its way through Sydney and Melbourne in March 2019, a too-good-to-be-true lineup poster appeared in Music Feeds‘ inbox this morning.

The poster features big names like System Of A Down — who were mysteriously named in code on Download Festival Australia’s website last year — Avenged Sevenfold, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie and Ghost — who have told Music Feeds they’re actually planning on heading to Australia next March.

But, sadly, the poster a big ‘ol fake.

The team behind Download Festival Australia has confirmed to Music Feeds that the poster is a fraud, but you can still check it out below and admire how much time its anonymous creator had on their hands.

Download Festival made its Australian debut in Melbourne earlier this year, with a lineup headlined by Korn, Limp Bizkit and Prophets Of Rage.

Next year’s events will take place at Sydney’s Parramatta Park and Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse, and organisers have already teased what they’re saying will be “a corker” of a lineup.

Catch up on Download’s 2019 dates right here, and that fake lineup poster below.
