Fairgrounds Festival Unveils Stacked 2017 Lineup

Holy shit-on-a-ferris-wheel, wait ’til you get a load of the freshly-squeezed 2017 lineup for New South Wales’ sun-soaked Fairgrounds Festival.

This year’s Berry bash is packing some truly huge names, but none huger than US indie-pop extraordinaires The Shins, who’ll be making their first trip to Aussie shores since 2012.

Joining them will be Baltimore synth heroes Future Islands, Melbourne electro-poppers Client Liaison, plus D.D Dumbo, You Am I, Jen Cloher, Marlon Williams, Press Club and loads more.

And looks like our Hockey Dad prediction from last month’s teaser was spot-on as well.

The festival is set to kick off the summer jams on the weekend of 8th and 9th December, with a whole bunch of other entertainment on offer including record fairs, artist talks, food and markets from local vendors, camping provisions and entertainment options for the whole tribe, including Little Fairgrounds serving up a range of fun for the kiddies.

Catch the full lineup and all the ticket details below.
