Flight Facilities have unleashed their new single, and it features a pretty spectacular cast.
The Aussie duo’s new track ‘Stranded’ features Kiwi duo Broods, US musician and comedian Reggie Watts and LA vocalist Saro. It doesn’t end there either, with frequent collaborator Touch Sensitive, pianist Piers Lane and Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa also helping out on the track.
While this is the first time Broods have featured on a track with Flight Facilities, Watts was featured on ‘Sunshine’ off their debut album Down To Earth, which is almost three years old now.
‘Stranded’ has been released alongside a video filmed in an abandoned Sydney prison by director Tom Noakes. It’s an emotional story that may be one of the most ambitious things the duo has ever given us.
It’s Flight Facilities’ first new offering since this year’s ‘Arty Boy’, which features Emma Louise. We’ve been told to keep an eye out for the duo’s new live show, as it may be closer than we think.
