Hear Silverchair’s Daniel Johns Feature On What So Not’s New Track ‘Be Ok Again’

After teasing their collaboration yesterday, former Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns and Aussie producer What So Not (Chris Emerson) have now released their debut collaborative track, which sees Johns take up a feature spot on Emerson’s new single ‘Be Ok Again’.

The pair’s festival-ready dance track, which you can stream in full below, comes after Emerson released a statement yesterday discussing how the collaboration came about after Johns walked past a studio in which Emerson was “jamming in a session with Slumberjack”.

“Dan seemed intrigued and started joking he had to leave before he decided to cancel his plans and track vocals with us for the next 10hrs,” Emerson said.

“A few days later, he reached out via a mutual friend & invited me up the coast to stay & work with him out of his home studio.”

‘Be Ok Again’ is the first piece of new music we’ve heard from Johns since his band Boom Tish released a cover of ‘Hello, How Are You’ by The Easybeats last month.
