Here’s When You Can Expect The Full Soundwave 2016 Lineup

UPDATE 17/12/15 5.50pm: Soundwave 2016 has been officially cancelled.

The lineup for Soundwave Festival 2016 is being slowly drip-fed to us and this week will see three more names revealed, with the first coming tomorrow morning.

Festival organiser AJ Maddah took to Twitter to announce that 3 acts are due to be announced this week with two or three to follow the week after that. Early bird tickets will then go off-sale, followed by the full first lineup announce which is set to include 22 bands.

Fellow organiser Chris O’Brien followed that up by revealing that the first act for the week will be revealed at 8am tomorrow morning.

It will be the fifth act to be officially announced for the festival. International acts Refused, Failure and Bullet For My Valentine have already been announced along with local heroes Dead Letter Circus.

Just last week Maddah shattered fans hopes of Guns N’ Roses headlining the festival telling Music Feeds, “It’s been nice for me personally to share this fantasy for a few days along with the fans but it is not happening for SW16.”

Maddah has previously teased that next year’s lineup would be heavier than usual and will be “all about better bands and longer sets”.

Despite that the rumours for who else will appear on the bill are swelling. You can check out a full rundown of everything we know about Soundwave 2016 including lineup speculations here.
