ORIGINAL STORY: English director and actor Edgar Wright, who has helmed films like Hot Fuzz, Shaun Of The Dead and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, has said he’d be totally “down” to work with Aussie psych lords King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard on an upcoming music video.
Taking to Twitter this morning, Wright began quoting lyrics from King Gizz’s track ‘Rattlesnake’, and even shared the song’s music video…
King Gizzard put it best when they sang: Rattlesnake, rattlesnake,

Then, after he was asked by a punter to direct an upcoming King Gizz video, Wright said he’d be up for the job, and even tagged the band to let them know.

King Gizz are yet to respond to Wright’s tweet, so Music Feeds has reached out to the band for comment.
The group are currently touring the US, and made their worldwide television debut on Conan earlier this week with the song ‘The Lord Of Lightning’, from their upcoming new album Murder Of The Universe.
King Gizz will return to Australia later this year, ahead of their appearance at Splendour In The Grass in July.
