Iggy And The Stooges Australian Tour 2013 – Bluesfest Sideshows

One of the most iconic rockers in the world Iggy Pop will be visiting Australia in March next year with The Stooges to play their first Australian headline shows. They’ll be playing three shows, including Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre, Melbourne’s Festival Hall and Sydney’s Hordern Pavillion. You’ll have to be quick to try to catch these historic shows, as it could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Also playing on the Bluesfest 2013 lineup, the band is perhaps not immediately associated with ‘the blues’ genre. But the festival has become well-known in recent years for bringing out major rock-legend talent, and Iggy and The Stooges’ brand of spaced-out acid punk rock will bring an energetic element to the festival, while still keeping within the overall vibe.

Australia’s own The Beasts of Bourbon will be joining them for all dates, so as you can imagine, we’re set for seriously off-the-wall gigs! Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, 7th November at different times, depending on your location (find out below).
